Okay wow another great D/M group! I'd like to promote and affiliate this with the upcoming sites best-enemies.com and time-cock.com. D/M needs way more love and exposure than it's getting these days, I KNOW there are tons of us out there still!

If any of you are on LJ too, please come see us at slash_lords, timecock, dw_slash, dw_yaoi, and timeslash Comms!

A couple of these just got started and could really use some material :) (Smile)  Slash_Lords has almost a thousand members!

I was so happy to find this here on Dev Art, and I'm happy to meet you all, I'm Anna, AKA the Mister Master!
I'm already a member of slash_lords on LJ under the same username. =) Doctor/Master is my Doctor Who OTP!
Dark Water just made this complicated
I don't want to sound like a hater, but I'm curious, for, y'know, science reasons. What's the appeal of DoctorxMaster stuff? Why is the Master appealing, why's the Doctor (which one is a matter of taste, including Tennant obviously) appealing? And why together? What kind of chemistry do they have together? Romantic or not.
They go way, way back and were very close in their younger days.

Many watching NewWho don't realize this, and it isn't really explained. Even the Third Doctor describes the Master as a once very good friend in the Sea Devils.

So given the potent heat there between them on SOD and LOTL, it was never a far reach for love. And  .. *cough*  ... pretty sure our ship is not only sailing but canon now.

*points to Missy and all her actions and words and  ...nggh! *
Oh yeah, well I asked that question before Missy happened of course. Maybe he was gay for the Doctor all along, and Missy was the first one to finally come out about it ^^;

I don't mind that, but I have a weird unexplainable problem with when the main hero of a fandom is forced into a submissive position in slash... depends on the character, and possibly which Doctor, but I much prefer something like Scream of the Shalka Doctor/Master where the Master is actually referred to as a "toy" for the Doctor to play with. And there's the weird scene with the TARDIS phone's automatic message, which... well, just listen to it and you'll understand. I like to think it's at least a give-and-take.
it's funny because to me I ALWAYS see Master as the sub, hehe.

As the 'hero' , the Doctor totally feels dom in the whole deal to me, always has.  And yeah, I am pretty sure Koschei was always in love with Theta, and now Moffat has allowed that to come out since Missy is female so of course it's okay  *eyeroll*  -- I didn't think that was the case but now I do really see it ( what do they call it hetero-normality?) but yeah, I'll take Master any way I can get him/her, and having this be pretty well canon now makes my drab life better  xD
